This week Maila is gone at horse camp with some friends. It’s rare that I get the opportunity to just be with my three boys. So, I decided I wanted to use this week to do some activities my boys would love that my daughter might not be into quite as much.
On Monday we did a wood project where we built robots. The boys enjoyed hammering, gluing, and screwing the parts together to make their robots.
Today, we decided to use those robots to create our very first stop motion video. The boys enjoyed planning the scene for the movie. And even creating some food and cups out of things we had around the house. I loved seeing them work together to move the robots around and make their video.
And, now I enjoy watching them giggle while watching the finished product on the TV. 🙂
