To my thinker. Who wears her heart on her sleeve. Who since she was itty bitty has claimed she was “shy” but possesses bravery in ways that I wish I had.
You are strong. A hard worker. Smart. Sensitive. You have a big heart full of all the compassion. You are a helper. Creative. Organized. You have a system for all the things and my organizational self does not mind it one bit.
Your stack of books beside your bed actually gets read (unlike the one beside mine). And you end up wanting more to read so fast it’s hard to keep that stack going. You love imagination and fun and friends and family! You love all things sparkly and glittery and girly but you hate having bows and frilly things in your hair because it messes with your playing.
I pray you will see yourself the way I see you as you grow, but most importantly the way God does. I cannot believe you are DOUBLE DIGITS old. How in the world did that even happen so fast?!

Maila had a birthday party with a few of her friends at LAUNCH trampoline park. They were almost too old to let me take their picture with this green kangaroo. haha.
