Anyone else had to have a heart check the past few days? I know that Jesus and I have had a few moments. Some moments where I had to be reminded that my hope is in Him ALONE!
2020 has been a reminder of our deep HUMANITY and brokenness. Sickness. Division. And this week BIG reminders that there’s no perfect ruler for us but Christ himself. And He is the only one to look to for deliverance, safety, security, and wholeness.
When we take our eyes off of that we simply despair. I don’t know what the future looks like for me or my children (that last part is what makes me prone to despair the most). But I do know who the perfect KING is. He rules and reigns with no error of judgment. He’s got a spotless record. And HE holds US if we belong to him.
